At the court hearing held on May 6 in the criminal case against Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan—who is accused under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other serious offenses—victims are being questioned.

Axar.az reports Sadig Bakhshiyev, who is officially recognized as a victim, gave testimony.

In his testimony, he said he was wounded by a sniper bullet fired by remnants of the Armenian Armed Forces in the Aghdara district. As a result, Bakhshiyev sustained serious bodily harm.

The results of the forensic medical examination conducted on the victim were also announced during the court hearing.
