The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the incidents in Yerevan related to offensive posters against the Russian president.

Axar.az reports that the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the root of such provocations is the funds allocated by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

“Someone at the US Embassy in Yerevan is still living by old schemes. The money allocated from USAID remains and is being directed to such projects,” Zakharova emphasized.

According to her, in many countries of the world, “no good work has been done” with USAID funds, and this organization constantly operates according to tried-and-tested schemes aimed at destabilizing the situation.
