The British government has suspended free trade talks with Israel and imposed new sanctions on settlements in the West Bank.
Axar.az informs that the Associated Press reported on this.
British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy said that the current trade agreement with Israel remains in force, but the government cannot continue negotiations with a government that pursues a radical policy in the West Bank and Gaza.
"The Israeli government must intervene and stop these aggressive actions. Their continued inaction puts Palestinian communities and the two-state solution at risk," he said.
It should be noted that the other day, England, France, and Canada issued a statement criticizing Israel's operations in Gaza and its activities in the occupied West Bank.
