A 6.4-magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Papua New Guinea.

Axar.az informs that the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported this.

According to the information, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 94 km northeast of the city of Angoram, which has a population of about 1,600 people. The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 25 km.

There are no reports of casualties or damage. No tsunami threat has been announced.
