Kuwaiti law enforcement agencies have received information about a bomb being planted on a plane belonging to Bahrain's Gulf Air airline.

Axar.az reports that the Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority has released a statement on this.

The plane landed safely in Kuwait, and all passengers were evacuated.

Although police officers inspected the plane, no explosive devices were found on it.

"The people who gave false information were detained and action was taken against them," it said.
