Iran’s Revolutionary Guard arrested the family of a female Iran International presenter in Tehran, pressuring her to resign from the network.

Axar.az, citing Iran International, reports that the presenter received a phone call from her father — under duress — demanding her resignation, with security forces dictating his words in the background.

Iran International condemned the act as hostage-taking and urged international pressure for their release.

The channel vowed to continue its mission despite this intimidation.
