Georgian PM: BTK is a corridor between China and Europe

Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway (BTK) is a corridor between China and Europe, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said at the Georgia-Estonia business forum in Tbilisi.

Axar.az reports citing APA.

‘Georgia develops strategic transport corridors which connect Europe and Asia. Two days ago, we launched BTK’, the PM said.

Kvirikashvili noted that new Anaklia seaport is situated on the shortest way lying from China to Europe: ‘This port is one of the very significant doors of the Silk Road’.
