The US has adopted a bill banning the sale of special equipment and weapons needed for the guards to protect the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports that, according to the Senate's decision, US companies were banned from selling weapons to Erdogan's guards.

It should be noted that when Erdogan visited the United States, a group of PKK supporters gathered around the Turkish Consulate called slogans against the president and the government. There was a conflict between Erdogan's supporters and them. Turkish leader's guards also were in the incident.
