Egyptian embassy to support initiatives on tourism links

“Egyptian embassy in Azerbaijan will support initiatives on development of Egypt-Azerbaijan tourism links”, Egypt's ambassador to Azerbaijan Suzanne Mohamed Gamil said at the press conference held jointly with heads of the Egyptian Tourism Federation and the Egyptian Hotel Association who are on a visit to Azerbaijan.

The ambassador noted that the Egyptian delegation’s visit to Azerbaijan aims to develop tourism ties between the two countries: We hope these ties will develop in the future too”.


The diplomat also noted that the Egyptian embassy in Azerbaijan will support initiatives on development of Egypt-Azerbaijan tourism links.


Official of Egyptian Tourism Federation Ahmad Shukri stressed Egypt intends to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan in many fields: “We are targeting organization of travels of tourists to both countries”.


Shukri also added that on March 29 Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al Sisi invited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Egypt.
