The scheme of payment of certain part of salary of the hired employees working on the basis of the employment contract has been developed in order to prevent reduction of number of jobs in the areas affected by the pandemic, and the implementation of the payments will be started within this week, the Ministry of Economy told.

Axar.az informs that, the measure envisages provision of financial aid in the amount of AZN 215 million by the government to the entrepreneurs in order to pay certain part of salaries of 300 thousand hired employees (having an employment contract) working in the areas of activity and clusters damaged by the pandemic.

The ministry stated that based on the appeals submitted by the employers via their electronic taxpayer account existing at the Internet Tax Department (www.e-taxes.gov.az), the certain part of salary that should be paid to their employees will be transmitted to the employers’ bank accounts as soon as possible, and the employers will become able to pay their employees’ salaries.
