Strong support from Asia for reforms of Azerbaijan

Assistant to the President on Economic Reforms Natig Amirov has met the visiting delegation led by Kathie Julian, Asian Development Bank (ADB) Officer-in-Charge, Azerbaijan Resident Mission.

The sides discussed the issues related to the analysis of the overall macroeconomic situation, identifying the reforms aimed at maintaining the macroeconomic stability, as well as the state's medium and long-term plans for economic reforms.

Natig Amirov noted the dynamic development of the economy and ensuring stability in the financial system of the country was an integral part of the basic policy determined by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Kathie Julian expressed her confidence for further mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and ADB, saying they support economic and structural reforms carried out in Azerbaijan and would further support the country in this direction.
