Moscow summons British diplomat over weapons deliveries

British Chargé d’Affaires in Russia Deyni Dolakia was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday, the ministry said.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the Russian Foreign Ministry lodged a strong protest with her over London’s continued increase in supplies of UAVs and other weapons systems to Kyiv.

“During the démarche, it was pointed out that the United Kingdom’s highly confrontational policy on Ukraine is clearly aimed at prolonging and escalating the armed conflict as much as possible and only further delays the prospect of a political settlement,” the ministry said.
