Moscow summons British diplomat over weapons deliveries

Germany’s Consulate General in St. Petersburg has ceased operations.
Axar.az reports, citing local media, that the diplomatic mission announced this on its website.
According to the statement, the Consulate General officially closed today. On September 17, the German flag, coat of arms and other symbols were removed from the building housing the consulate.
It should be noted that Germany’s Consulate General in St. Petersburg had been operating since 1972.
The German school operating under the consulate has also been closed. Its final classes were held on September 11. The school, which had been operating since 2009, had around 150 students.
