EU supports the Southern Gas Corridor

Delivery of resources of the Caspian Sea to Europe attaches a great importance.

European Commission vice-president for energy union Maros Sefcovic said at the 2nd Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council meeting in Baku.

Sefcovic noted that the EU considers energy security an important issue: “Southeast Europe, as well as Balkan states are interested in this project. I highly appreciate the interests and support of the international financial organizations in this project. The European Union supports the Southern Gas Corridor”.
