Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on measures to improve governance in dealing with emergencies, APA reports.

According to the decree, in order to improve the management in the field of rescue on water, as well as to ensure traffic safety of small vessels, the State Service for Control of Small Vessels and Water Rescue under the Ministry of Emergency Situations was established on the base of Inspectorate for Small Vessels and the State Rescue Service on Waters

Ministry of Emergency Situations was instructed to submit the project charter of the state service within two months

Ministry of Justice mandated bring normative legal acts of central executive bodies in compliance with this Decree and inform the Cabinet of Ministers.
