Azerbaijan urges UN, OSCE to condemn Armenia

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has sent letters in connection with the escalation of the situation on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops as a result of provocative actions by Armenian armed forces to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Chairman of the UN Security Council Louis Michel and Chairperson of the OSCE Permanent Council Pohl Eberhard, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told local media on April 27.

Mammadyarov urged heads of the international organizations to strongly condemn Armenia for violating the ceasefire agreement reached April 5, 2016, to demand Armenia's full compliance with the undertaken obligations and withdraw its troops from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Hajiyev said.
