The transfer of Zangezur, our historical land, to Armenia by Russia against the will of our people was reflected in the periodical press, newspapers of a number of countries, and various documents.

Axar.az reports that one such newspaper is the French newspaper "L'Œuvre". This issue was discussed in the newspaper's article entitled "Between Russians and Armenians" (Entre Russes et Arméniens) dated July 14, 1920, number 1748. The mentioned article once again confirms that Zangezur is the territory of Azerbaijan and that it was a gift from Russia to Armenia.

"Soviet Russia handed over the Zangezur region located in the territory of Azerbaijan to Armenia according to the agreement signed with the Republic of Armenia on July 1..." - the article published in the newspaper states.

It should be noted that after the negotiations conducted in the summer of 1920, Zangezur was given to Armenia by the decision of the joint meeting of the Political and Organizational Bureaus of the Central Committee of the Azerbaijan K(b)P held on November 30 of that year.
