A network that embezzled 138 million hryvnias (3 million 316 thousand dollars) allocated for the army in Ukraine was revealed.
Axar.az reports that the country's press published information about this.
The investigation determined that the employees of housing management offices and representatives of commercial structures participated in the embezzlement. A number of officials detained in connection with the case were accused of buying fuel, electricity, natural gas, and furniture for the army at inflated prices, in addition to carrying out construction works in military infrastructure facilities.
A criminal case has been opened against them.
