Jeyhun Bayramov meets Algerian President

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov as part of his official visit to Algeria.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) published information on this.

It was noted that the parties reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Algeria, and stressed the importance of maintaining high-level political dialogue and deepening cooperation in various fields.

The discussions covered expanding trade and economic relations, promoting cooperation in investment and energy, and strengthening mutual relations between the business circles of the two countries.

Both sides emphasized the importance of the Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

The meeting also exchanged views on issues of regional and international importance, including cooperation within the framework of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Non-Aligned Movement.
