Ukraine, US and EU allies agree on draft war halt document

Within the framework of meetings in Geneva between the Ukrainian delegation and representatives of the U.S., Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, a joint document on halting the war is being agreed upon.

Axar.az reports that Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the Geneva talks, said this.

He stated that the new version already reflects most of Ukraine’s concerns:

“Although the current version of the document is in the final stage of approval, it already reflects the majority of Ukraine’s main priorities.”

Umerov noted that Ukraine highly values constructive interaction with the U.S. and careful attention to the points that concern Ukraine:

“This allows us to make progress in the cooperation process.”
