Pakistan PM invited to join Gaza Peace Council

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has received an offer from U.S. President Donald Trump to join the Peace Council that will oversee governance in the Gaza Strip.

Axar.az reports, citing Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Pakistan will continue to take part in international efforts to ensure peace and security in Gaza, leading to a long-term solution to the Palestinian issue in line with UN resolutions,” the statement said.
