Russia’s return to G7 summit in Paris under discussion

An extraordinary G7 meeting could be held in Paris with Russia’s participation.

Axar.az reports, citing EurActiv, that this could be Russia’s first participation in the summit since it was expelled from the group in 2014 over Crimea. It is not yet clear whether the invitation will be extended to Vladimir Putin or another representative of the Russian government.
