Azerbaijani and Kuwaiti FMs discuss rising regional tensions

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone call with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jabir Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

Axar.az informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, during the conversation, the ministers discussed the rising tensions in the region.

They expressed serious concern over the ongoing military clashes, emphasizing that the situation poses significant risks to regional security and stability.

The ministers stressed the importance of reducing tensions and highlighted the need to strengthen diplomatic initiatives to return to the negotiation process.

They also underscored the necessity of adhering to international humanitarian law and protecting civilians and critical infrastructure.

The call included an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest.
