The new area of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy—military-technical cooperation—is promising.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks during press statements with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

“Our new area of cooperation, military-technical cooperation, is promising,” the President said.

He added that views were exchanged on the matter during the meeting:

“We have concrete ideas regarding the implementation of joint projects, the organization of joint production, and the combination of Italian technology with Azerbaijani financial resources. This was also discussed in detail.”
