Robert Kocharyan organized a leak of information to the Azerbaijani side, after which around 100 Armenian soldiers were caught in a deadly trap and were killed by Azerbaijani forces.
Axar.az informs that Minval Politika, citing sources, reveals an unknown episode of the First Karabakh War.
In Armenia, an “electoral hell” is unfolding. Masked armed men with automatic weapons are openly threatening Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with death. There are no guarantees that the country will not erupt on election day or immediately afterward. The traditions of political terror in Armenian society run deep. Monuments are erected to terrorists, and streets and military academies are named after them. Moreover, the Armenian political class has never condemned terrorism itself as a “method of political struggle.”
Kocharyan is a terrorist at his core. He shed rivers of blood in order to seize power and hold onto it. As early as 1992, there were persistent rumors that Robert Kocharyan was involved in the killing of Artur Mkrtchyan, one of the first leaders of the Karabakh separatists. In this way, Robert Sedrakovich cleared his path to power — first in Khankendi, and from there to “storm” Yerevan. In 1997–1998, Robert Kocharyan was one of the key figures in the “creeping coup,” as a result of which Armenia’s first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, was removed from power. That “creeping coup,” it should be noted, was accompanied by a series of political assassinations, and in Yerevan people whispered about cars with “Karabakh” license plates and terrorists arriving from Karabakh.
Everyone is familiar with the 1999 shooting in the Armenian parliament. At first glance, and according to the official version, it was carried out by a group of five “deranged” terrorists. However, there is serious evidence suggesting Robert Kocharyan’s involvement in the crime. Moreover, as a result of the attack, his most dangerous political rivals were killed — Parliament Speaker Karen Demirchyan and Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan.
Even more to reflect on is the March 2008 crackdown in Yerevan against peaceful protesters. At that time, people demonstrating against alleged election fraud were shot by army special forces brought in from Karabakh, which was then under occupation. There are also other incidents. In addition, there is serious information about the role of his envoys from Khankendi in the Sumgait events.
However, Minval Politika is now revealing a new bloody chapter — that Kocharyan set up and killed his own people.
According to reliable sources, Armenian war criminals detained in Baku have, in their testimonies, revealed interesting details about how Kocharyan effectively betrayed Armenians during the First Karabakh War.
Thus, in 1992–1993, during one of the operations in the Agdara–Kalbajar direction, disagreements arose between Kocharyan and Armenia’s Ministry of Defense.
At that time, Kocharyan, in order to prove his position and indispensability, created conditions in which around 100 Armenian servicemen were encircled by Azerbaijani forces and destroyed. Moreover, he had previously organized a leak of this information to the Azerbaijani side.
A man who, in order to seize power, shot up parliament, and in order to retain it, carried out the March massacre of his own people, during the occupation war against Azerbaijan did not hesitate to sacrifice “his own.” We will publish details of this betrayal separately.
In today’s pre-election Armenia, Kocharyan is trying to portray himself as a “hero.” Of course, he conveniently “forgets” that in 2020, when the real war began, this “great commander” preferred to flee rather than fight. He also showed cowardice in diplomacy.
Recall: at the height of the war, Kocharyan loudly promised to go to Moscow for talks with “decision-makers,” but he suddenly tested positive for coronavirus. And now this coward, with blood on his hands — both Azerbaijani and Armenian — is not only portraying himself as a hero. He is openly promising Armenia a “revolution” if he does not win the elections.
Simply put, voting for Kocharyan once again means voting for blood. It is clear that his electorate is not particularly concerned about possible casualties among Azerbaijanis. Moreover, today the Azerbaijani army is strong enough to respond to provocations, prevent new territorial seizures, and, above all, prevent a repetition of Khojaly.
It should be noted that Kocharyan is internationally wanted for involvement in the Khojaly genocide. As for a civil war within Armenia itself, that is now the responsibility of Armenian voters, who have just over a day left to reflect on their choice.
