OSCE Chairperson-in-Office visits Azerbaijan

Ignazio Cassis, a member of the Swiss Federal Council and head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Cassis announced the visit in a post on X.

"Happy to undertake my first official visit to Azerbaijan.

Switzerland values its partnership with Azerbaijan. We aim to deepen our cooperation in trade, innovation, and economic ties, while advancing dialogue, peace, stability, and prosperity in the South Caucasus as OSCE Chairperson-in-Office," he wrote.

Cassis said that, this visit marks the start of a broader regional outreach.
