Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has received Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Kyiv.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky said on his Telegram channel that Bayramov's visit was his first to Ukraine since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion.

"I received Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. Mr. Minister is visiting Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. He began his visit in Irpin, where he visited a school, a hospital, and a rehabilitation center that Azerbaijan is assisting.

We are very grateful that, during these difficult days for our country and our people, you found an opportunity to come and support us. Thank you for your solidarity with our people," Zelensky said.

Zelensky said he briefed Bayramov on Russia's continued strikes against Ukraine, the situation in the Black Sea, and Russia's blocking of grain corridors.

"I briefed him on Russia's ongoing strikes against Ukraine, the situation in the Black Sea, and Russia's blocking of grain corridors. We discussed high-level diplomatic contacts, defense cooperation, and economic cooperation in the energy sector, the oil and gas industry, and agriculture," he stated.
