Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said he was received by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his official visit to Ukraine, where they discussed bilateral relations and areas of cooperation.

Axar.az reports that Bayramov made a statement on his X account.

"Honored to be received by President Zelensky during my official visit to Ukraine. We held comprehensive discussions on the current state and future prospects of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine Strategic Partnership, with particular focus on political dialogue, energy, transport, humanitarian cooperation, and regional and international issues of mutual interest," Bayramov stated.

"I also briefed President Zelensky on the post-conflict realities in the South Caucasus, efforts to advance the peace agenda, and the large-scale reconstruction underway in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories," he continued.

"I appreciate President Zelensky’s kind words regarding Azerbaijan’s humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for our continued support," he added.
