Azerbaijan-Armenia peace steps set example for world

The steps taken by Azerbaijan and Armenia toward lasting peace set an example for the world.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a Joint Statement issued by the United States, Armenia and Azerbaijan marking the first anniversary of the Peace Summit held at the White House.

“True peace is never achieved in just one day, but as President Trump says – Promises Made, Promises Kept. Azerbaijan and Armenia’s steps toward a lasting peace are a model for the world – and we look forward to the region’s bright and prosperous future,” the statement said.
