Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks at the third meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Supreme Intergovernmental Council.

Stating that "Today, Uzbekistan is a state with great international authority," the head of state emphasized that this is largely the merit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

He noted: "You work tirelessly, making every effort to develop the country and strengthen its potential, including enhancing Uzbekistan's role in the international arena.
