Georgia lowered its flags for Soviet occupation

Flags have been downed in the Georgian official institutions on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the occupation by the Red Army of the Democratic Republic of Georgia.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the Vzglyad newspaper.

Saakashvili declared February 25, 2010, the day of Soviet occupation. A museum of Soviet occupation was established in Tbilisi in this regard.

The Red Army invaded the Democratic Republic of Georgia in February 1921. After a week of battling in Tbilisi, the Georgian government first moved to Kutaisi and then to Batumi. After that, the government took refuge in France.
