On January 31, the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Khusrav Noziri, called the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and strongly condemned the armed attack against the embassy of our country in Iran, and expressed his condolences for the murder of the embassy employee.

Axar.az was told by the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the General Secretary Khusrav Noziri strongly condemned this act, which is a gross violation of the norms of international law, including the "Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations", and said that it is necessary to bring the criminal to justice in a short period of time.

Thanking the other side for their support, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that we will take all necessary measures to bring the perpetrators of this treacherous terrorist act and their patrons to justice, which resulted in the loss of life of 1 employee of our embassy and the injury of 2 people. He stressed that the receiving side has an obligation to prevent such attacks.
