All five campuses of the Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism (MGUSiT) have been evacuated in Moscow, Russia.

Axar.az reports, citing RBC, the university’s admissions office said law enforcement officers are on site and the necessary emergency services have been called.

Classes were also canceled at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (RCTU) after students and staff were evacuated, the university’s press service told TASS.

The Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) switched students and staff to remote learning after receiving an anonymous message.

“An anonymous message was received. The university’s security service promptly notified the Emergencies Ministry, Interior Ministry and Federal Security Service. All students and staff have been switched to remote learning. There is no panic, and the relevant services are working,” the university’s press service said, according to the agency.

Moscow Online, citing students, reported evacuations at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), the State University of Education, the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics college in Khamovniki, Sechenov University, the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Kosygin Russian State University.

The Telegram channel Ostorozhno, Moskva reported that GITIS received a bomb threat, after which its main building on Kislovsky Lane was evacuated.

According to the channel, the Moscow International University, the Russian Foreign Trade Academy, the Institute of Film and Television (GITR), and the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics were also evacuated.
