OIC calls on Iran regarding the attack on our embassy

In the resolution "Attack against the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran" adopted by the Council of Ministers of the OIC, which includes 57 countries, OIC member states strongly condemn the armed attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran on January 27, 2023, which resulted in death.

Axar.az reports citing the Azerbaijani MFA.

“Iranian government is urged to investigate thoroughly the attack, bring to justice the perpetrators of the attack, ensure the security of the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the area of the Islamic Republic of Iran in accordance with the Vienna Convention on the Diplomatic Relations dated 1961. The resolution also welcomes the statements of OIC Secretariat and OIC member states, condemning the attack on the embassy,” the information reads.
