Bagrat does not want an election

The Armenian priest Bagrat Galstanyan has once again revealed his inexperience in politics and his overambitious aspirations. When a journalist asked him about his stance if the government decides to hold early elections, the priest responded that they are not considering this matter. What do you mean, you're not considering it? Then how do you plan to remove Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from power?

Axar.az reports that political analyst Elkhan Shahinoglu commented on the priest Bagrat's bid for the prime ministership in Armenia.

"Usually, when the opposition demands the resignation of the government, they simultaneously call for early elections. This implies that the priest and the forces behind him are not interested in coming to power through elections but in establishing a junta regime. It seems they understand they will lose again in the elections. In fact, Nikol Pashinyan could use the priest's statement 'we don't want early elections' against the radicals," he emphasized.

It should be noted that a series of revanchist actions against delimitation led by priest Bagrat have been ongoing in Armenia for some time.
