"Caucasus is not within France's area of interest, it is considered Russia's sphere of influence," said Murad Papazyan, the co-chair of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France, making such a claim.

"Other countries with interests in the region also exist. These include the United States and the United Kingdom, which have serious relations with Turkiye and Azerbaijan and aim to weaken Russia. But is the strengthening of the United States and the United Kingdom in the region and the weakening of Russia in line with Armenia's interests?" Papazyan asked.

He believes that the EU, in turn, wants to empower Turkiye to deal with Caucasus issues:

"We are sure that Macron will not agree with this position of the EU. At the same time, there is a reality today, such as NATO, which is a serious organization for the West. Turkiye plays a significant role in this alliance. This should also be taken into account. Therefore, when handing over the keys to the West, it should be considered that it will lean towards Turkiye, which wants to implement its pan-Turkist plans together with Baku.

Baku and Ankara want to create an economic and energy market in the East to compete with the United States and Europe, and Armenia prevents them from achieving this goal. Considering this, they have created a new reality in Armenia so that the government does not prevent them from realizing this desire. Turkiye will try to strengthen its influence in Armenia by using "soft power". Under these conditions, Armenia wants to sign a peace treaty, but with Azerbaijan's pen? In such conditions, what will the development of relations with Turkiye bring to Armenia?

In his opinion, Azerbaijan and Turkiye are trying to take advantage of the weakness of negotiations in Yerevan.

It should be noted that Papazyan is in a hostile relationship with Pashinyan and his entry into Armenia has been prohibited."
