On June 17, 2024, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the ministers discussed the work done on various aspects of bilateral alliance relations between the two countries.

In addition, issues of preparation for the informal summit meeting of the Organization of Turkic States to be held in Shusha were reviewed.

During the telephone conversation, bilateral issues of mutual interest as well as the regional situation were exchanged.
