He also touched on the restrictions against Azerbaijani Turkish in Iran:

"As an Azerbaijani, I will not allow anyone to make fun of my language, no one can prohibit reading and writing in Azerbaijani Turkish."

It should be noted that before the presidential elections, there were rumors about Masoud Pezeshkia's mother being Kurdish.
