The joint military exercises of the Chinese and Belarusian troops near the Belarusian city of Brest will continue until July 19. Codenamed "Eagle Assault", these exercises are held 5 kilometers from the Polish border. The duration of the trainings also drew attention: 11 days. As part of the anti-terrorist exercises, the military personnel of both countries are practicing night landing operations, overcoming water barriers and carrying out operations.

It was stated that these exercises can be considered as a response to NATO's Washington meeting.

"Thus, a new bloc against NATO is being formed. Belarus and China were involved in this bloc, which Russia is trying to create. While the West is expanding its activities against Russia's attack on Ukraine, Moscow is also trying to gather its partners around it. For Moscow, the Collective Security Treaty Organization is no longer sufficient, it needs a larger military body. Although Belarus did not directly participate in Russia's war against Ukraine, it provided its ally with logistical support and air bases.
