Nicolas Maduro's electoral headquarters announced that he won the presidential election in Venezuela.

Axar.az reports that the headquarters of Venezuelan presidential candidate Nicolas Maduro announced his victory and called everyone to wait for the official results of the National Electoral Council (CNE).

The head of Maduro's election headquarters, speaker of the parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, expressed his gratitude to the citizens for participating in the vote.

"We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Although we cannot reveal the final results, we can show you our face. This victory belongs to all of us and will be the basis for our future. Of course, we have to wait for the results of the National Electoral Council, because we respect the laws of our country and the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," Rodríguez said.

The National Electoral Council announced that Maduro won the presidential elections held in Venezuela with 51.2% of the votes.
