The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has called on citizens not to visit Israel's territories close to the Lebanese border due to the tension between Lebanon and Israel.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the application of the foreign policy department.

"In connection with the tense security situation between Lebanon and Israel, we point out that it is important to strictly follow the travel warnings issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on August 3 and 5, 2024, respectively.

"At the same time, due to the declaration of a special situation in Israel, we recommend our citizens not to visit the areas close to Israel's border with Lebanon and to act in accordance with the security instructions issued by local authorities," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
