Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Indonesia's Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared on the ministry's X account.

The ministers discussed cooperation issues of mutual interest in various fields, including economy, transportation, and tourism, as well as relations within international organizations.

J. Bayramov also provided information about the post-conflict situation in the region and preparations for COP29.

At the end of the meeting, the foreign ministers signed an agreement on the exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.
