The Kremlin announced on Monday that Russia is actively working to facilitate efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East by encouraging restraint from all parties involved.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made this statement in response to questions regarding the consequences of Israeli strikes on Iran. He emphasized that Russia is in contact with all sides of the conflict, including Tehran, Israel, and the Palestinians.

“Russia is constantly doing everything possible to urge the parties to show restraint and to support any attempts to de-escalate tensions,” Peskov said. “The situation in the region remains extremely tense, and it is crucial to promote restraint at this time.”
