Tunisia's coastguard has recovered the bodies of 16 migrants off the coasts of Maloulech, Salakta, and Chebba, marking another tragic incident in the Mediterranean migration crisis.

Axar.az reports that , citing Reuters, Houssem Eddine Jebabli, a senior official in the national guard, stated that the bodies were found over the weekend and on Monday, but they remain unidentified due to decomposition.

It should be noted that Tunisia is facing an unprecedented migration crisis, having overtaken Libya as the primary departure point for both Tunisians and other Africans seeking a better life in Europe.
