Gérard Depardieu asks for delay to sexual assault trial

French actor Gérard Depardieu, whose trial on sexual assault charges was scheduled to begin in Paris on Monday, has requested a delay due to health issues, according to his lawyer.

Axar.az reports that n citing the Guardian, “Gérard Depardieu is extremely affected, and unfortunately, his doctors have forbidden him from attending the hearing. Therefore, he will request a postponement to a later date so he can be present,” Jeremie Assous told Franceinfo.
