Relations between Ankara and Yerevan will normalize after a peace agreement is signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Turkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

He noted that Ankara considers the achievement of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia a key element for ensuring stability in the South Caucasus:

"We are providing maximum support for the achievement of agreements, and we are pleased to see the parties moving closer to them. The recent decisions regarding the border (demarcation) are a clear example of this progress."
