China will continue to work with the United States based on mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation, a foreign ministry spokesperson stated on Wednesday, following Donald Trump's claim of victory in the US presidential election.

Axar.az reports that, citing Reuters, Chinese strategists, however, anticipate more aggressive rhetoric and potentially damaging tariffs from Trump, who has previously proposed tariffs exceeding 60% on Chinese imports and the termination of China's most-favored-nation trading status.
