Former President Donald Trump praised tech mogul Elon Musk as a “super genius” during a speech to supporters early Wednesday morning.

Axar.az reports that Trump highlighted Musk’s Starlink satellite service, crediting it with saving "a lot of lives" during Hurricane Helene, which struck the southeastern United States in October.

“I told Elon, they really need it in North Carolina. Can you get it to them?” Trump recounted. “He got it there so quickly, it was amazing. It saved a lot of lives.”

The former president went on to describe Musk as “a character, a special guy, a super genius,” adding, “We have to protect our geniuses. We don’t have many of them.”
