"Trump is one of the leaders who can find common ground with Putin, and he will not continue Biden's political line. Trump’s main target will be China. Belarusian leader Lukashenko's congratulation to the U.S. President on his victory could be interpreted as a message."

Axar.az reports that Elman Valiyev stated this while discussing Alexander Lukashenko's congratulatory message to Trump, sent before Putin’s own message.

According to Valiyev, Lukashenko’s gesture hints at an attempt to mediate between the U.S. and Russia:

“In this context, we might view Lukashenko as a potential mediator between Putin and Trump. It’s hardly believable that Lukashenko would independently pursue a policy with the U.S. without Putin’s knowledge. Incidentally, it’s no coincidence that Putin congratulated Trump one day after Lukashenko."
