Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Cairo as part of the 11th Summit of the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization.

Axar.az reports that the parties discussed relations between the two countries and regional and global issues.

Erdogan also stressed that Turkiye will continue to stand by the Syrian people in the process of historical transformation.
